ANNUAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

At MJG Building we offer yearly property maintenance plans tailored to suit the customer’s individual requirements. We believe regular care and maintenance is the best way to avoid small issues becoming major, often expensive issues with a property.

Our experienced and qualified team will first survey the property, inspecting all the elements that may require maintenance. We then recommend a maintenance schedule with yearly costs broken down into each individual element. This gives the client the freedom to adjust the plan as they please to suit their needs and budget.

Below are typical examples of the maintenance we carry out:

Internal:

  • Inspecting and maintaining boilers and cylinders

  • Bleeding radiators, re-pressurising heating systems

  • Checking and repairing kitchen and bathroom fittings

  • Inspecting all electrical items for faults and repairing any defects. E.g. lighting, switches, sockets, replacing bulbs and fuse-boards.

  • Inspecting and making good any minor cracks, chips, discolouration or damage to paintwork

  • Checking doors operate smoothly and correctly and adjust if necessary

  • Inspecting and repairing silicone joints and grout in bathrooms

External:

  • Checking and touching up exterior paintwork including windows and windowsills

  • Inspecting roofs for any leaks, damage, slipped roof slates etc and repairing as necessary (scaffolding may be required)

  • Cleaning and inspecting guttering

  • Inspecting external windows for any damage or leaks and ensuring smooth operation

  • Jet washing patio areas

  • Re sealing stone work

  • Repairing any loose pointing or blown bricks
